Logan-Rogersville Varsity Wildcats Runs Away With Early Lead in Victory

Monett Varsity Lady cubs watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 10-0 loss to Logan-Rogersville Varsity Wildcats on Tuesday.  Logan-Rogersville Varsity Wildcats took the lead on a double in the first inning.

The Monett Varsity Lady cubs struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Logan-Rogersville Varsity Wildcats, giving up ten runs.

Logan-Rogersville Varsity Wildcats got things started in the first inning when Maddie Evans doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Jenna McKenzie was the winning pitcher for Logan-Rogersville Varsity Wildcats. The righty surrendered zero runs on zero hits over six innings, striking out six and walking zero.

Kendra Parsons was on the rubber for Monett Varsity Lady cubs. The bulldog lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs while striking out two.  Abby Inman threw one inning in relief.

McKenzie led Logan-Rogersville Varsity Wildcats with two hits in four at bats.  Logan-Rogersville Varsity Wildcats didn't commit a single error in the field. Jenna Lane had the most chances in the field with six.
